About us
Andover Transport started in the 1980s under private ownership. The company was sold to Red Funnel in 1989. After a number of further ownership changes the business was acquired by Jason Horner under a management buy-out in February 2011.Today Andover Transport is a truly independent business with an extensive fleet of new rigid and articulated vehicles, over 30 staff and a 24/7 operation.
So…as well as going from A to B, we’re going from strength to strength. These are exciting times at Andover Transport – and we’d like you to be part of them.
The Fleet
Our ‘rigid’ fleet comprises of small, panel and flat vans, 7.5 tonne curtainside, 7.5 tonne flatbed, and 18 tonne curtainside vehicles.
The articulated fleet includes 44 tonne Euro V 6 x 2’s tractor units with a range of trailers from eco-double decker, high cubes, Euroliners and tail lift curtainside trailer.
90% of Andover Transport’s fleet is Euro V emission compliant. Aerodynamically efficient Ecodeck trailers are another green credential as is our Navman wireless tracking on all vehicles, ensuring best logistical practice and journey planning as well as customer real-time tracking and up to date infomation.
